We have liftoff!

Dylan is officially potty trained! YAY! Most of you mothers can share in my excitement as you know how hard this task can be. Dylan has flown through with flying colors. He took about two straight weeks of accidents and underpants to get it, (and a few poopy diapers in Target...yuck!), but I think its official, no more diapers! Hooray! He is growing so fast.

People keep asking for fun stories of the kids so I will try to post as soon as I can. As for now, Dylan loves his sister. He is excited when she wakes up so he can run into her room and say "oh hi sweety". Dylan also loves singing in church. He listens to his daddy and I, and repeats everything that we say, (at 5 times the volume of course). Its supper cute hearing him sing, and he is so excited in the end to say, "I sang a church song". This week he also randomly started asking for his "monies" which is his piggy bank. When I got it down for him today we opened it and dumped the money out and he quickly held up a quarter saying "mommy, here is money to go to California"..."I fly on airplane to California!" (He asks about once a week when we can go to California and I tell him we need money to fly on an airplane...so there is the connection with the piggy bank...what a smarty!). He also loves putting on deodorant in the morning, except for some reason since he can't figure out that it goes under his arms so he puts it on his neck. Funny kid.

Sydney is still getting cuter and cuter (I know I always say that but it is so true). She does weigh 20 lbs already and that is only 10 lbs less than her brother who is over two years older...oh man! When we took her two month appt they told us to get her a new car seat because she was already outgrowing the one we had...ridiculous! She is a big girl, but a cute one at that. This morning all I wanted to do was sleep in an extra 20 min since Dylan hadn't gotten up yet, and of course Sydney woke up at 6:45 and decided that she wanted to have a full on conversation with me. I couldn't help but enjoy that moment to the fullest, those moments just make my day. Sydney is so happy and talkative in the morning right when she wakes up. It is really cute for now but i hope that it doesn't last long since as we all know I am NOT a morning person, and talking is the LAST thing that I want to do. Sydney has also started rolling over front to back. She gets stuck though because she can't go back to her back, so eventually she gives up and just falls asleep on her tummy.In other news. Katie, one of my closest friends in the the world just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Lucas John. He is adorable, and I am so excited to have another friend to to share the joys of motherhood with. Along with this news, my brother Jeremy found out that they are having a girl, and my sister in law Heidi found out they are having a boy. Congrats you guys! I am so stoked...more cousins for Sydney and Dylan to play with. FUN FUN!

The end of summer...

Its the end of summer and what do I have to show for it? School starts in 4 days for my nieces and nephews and I am going to have to fend for myself once again....no more friends for my babies to play with. We did have a great summer though. Cameron's summer hours were excellent and we took full advantage of him getting off around 4 everyday. We were able to take a few short vacations, and see lots of family. To top it off, we are losing weight! Most of you know that we Mounts are doing a family wide weight loss challenge. Apparently we are "all overweight". So yes there are prizes and money involved, and it has been three weeks and I have lost 5 lbs, and Cameron 10! WOOHOO!! I can't wait to be back to my pre-Sydney/Dylan weight. 9 more lbs to go! We have had to give up desserts...yes that means ice cream for me. It has been tough, but not too bad. We also finally started up our volleyball nights again...I am just lucky the boys let me play! I love getting back into shape...its hard, but totally worth it! Anneli...don't think i haven't been running my street...you would be proud! :)

Anyway, that is it for us...here are a few recent pics of the babes. They are growing so fast. Sydney has finally found something to soothe her and that is her left index finger. I didn't think I would be so excited about that, but i am jsut glad she doesn't cry all the time. Its been great. She also is sleeping through the night 10 hours (it took Dylan 18 months to do that), and she is cuter than ever...who does she look like?
Dylan is talking like crazy. He says anything and everything. Last week he started saying "go away you freaking bugs". I wonder where he got that? :) I just keep forgetting how much I influence everything, and how he can repeat anything i say. Its kinda scary don't you think? He really loves his little sister and has even tried holding her when I wasn't looking. OOPS! Dylan is also learning to use the potty. He has been doing great. He gets two gummies every time he goes and it seems to be working well. I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Florida!!!

We went to Florida a few weeks ago with all of the family out here in Georgia. It was a blast! We went with Jason and Heidi and their four kids (and one on the way...CONGRATS), and Alison and Ed with their 3 kids. We layed and played and read on the beach, and in the pool, and took our first official vacation as a family. It was a perfect trip! Oh and Dylan can now swim with just his floaties...yay! He loves the water just like his mommy!

Cameron and I celebrated our 7^th year anniversary together on the 23^rd of June. Can you believe it? Yes we were married young and I know there are a few of you out there that thought we might never make it, but here we are stronger and happier than ever. I am the luckiest girl alive and that is the truth! I love you Cameron!

Happy Birthday Britney!!

Sorry to all of you women out there who are not married to Cameron Mount but he is the greatest man alive and I will never know why I was ever lucky enough to be his wife. This year for my 26th birthday he surprised me with tickets to California! What a guy! He arranged the whole thing with all of my family and friends, (and if you know Cameron, he is not a planner, or someone who talks on the phone, so this was huge!) He also donated his b-day money for the tickets (again, if you know Cameron at all you know that this is the biggest sacrifice ever! :)) How awesome is that? Everyone who helped with that, thank you so much, you have no idea how much I needed that! I had been struggling with the new baby and everything, and Cameron knew that I needed to be close to my girlfriends and family. So while I was gone for 13 days while he worked harder than ever to keep busy, make extra money, and fix up the house for when I got home. He is amazing!

In cali I was able to spend time with Janon , in Sherman Oaks, Dan and Seth, Lindsay and Jordan in their great new apartment in Pasadena, Emily and Amir, Shar and Reagans family, Alison and the kids, Coco, Tim and Anges family from SF, Katie and Hani, Ashley and Ben, Lisa and Ceasar, and of course G-mama and g-papa. It was the greatest trip EVER! So many people came out to see me and It made me feel so important. I love you all!

Family Pictures

So we finally went to take our family pictures with Sydney. They turned out so cute! She is such a doll, I can't stand it. We did however have to rethink the clothing situation since she out grew the two dresses I was planning on her wearing. She is such a chunk!

Dylan was great even though he hates pictures. We had to give him 2 nerds after every picture to keep him smiling, can you believe how well it worked? The workers were a bit annoyed, but they loved that he would smile for "two green tandies"

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Cameron turned 30 last week, can you believe it!? I can't believe he is 30 already, and still looking as hot as ever! Man I love that guy!

Cameron had the greatest birthday surprise ever this week. Our closest friends Jono and Anneli flew out for the week, and he didn't know about it until we took off his blind fold at the airport. It was hilarious. Anyway, they came with their beautiful little girl Kalia who ended up having the time of her life with Dylan. They were so cute together. We were able to go to a Braves game, the water park, etc, but most importantly, we were able to play hours and hours of games that went well into the night. I am already having withdrawals since they left. We brought back DR. Mario just like in the old days in the valley, I am still the reigning champion although Jono and Cameron like to think otherwise (just cause they are good "Daumpers"). Jono, Cameron did get his rank up to to 5999...its all about committing!
We had a blast with them and can't wait to build more uninsured tunnels when they come back.Cameron's birthday sadly was the day after Janon left, but don't think that I didn't pull a Britney and send my cute hubby a singing telegram at work. Aw yeah, it was pretty funny. Not only did my singing telegram sing happy birthday, but but she too dressed up as snow white to sing "One day my Prince will come" (since my prince was born 30 years ago of course). Good ol' Mr. Mike threw Cameron a token and told him he was living a fairytale. It was hilarious! I have never seen Cameron so embarrassed...it was perfect and definitely memorable. I will send a pic when I get it off my sisters camera (yes she did video the whole thing).
So that was our week in a nutshell, isn't it fun to be us? (especially when the "tormados" aren't coming through)
