Happy Halloween! This year the family decided months in advance that they wanted to be characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The girls wanted to be Oompa Loompas, Dylan wanted to be the golden ticket, I was going to be the fat blueberry girl, and Cam was going to be Willy Wonka. It was such a great plan, but it derailed about 3 weeks before Halloween when Macey decided that she couldn't wear anything other than a dress. Go figure. She decided to go as a witch, Syd wanted to be a ghost, and Dylan went as a Ninja.
I had to dress up as well...afterall, it was my last halloween ever being pregnant! Trick or Treat!
The kids aren't allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school but the Kindergartners do have Scarecrow day, and Dylan had book report Day where they could dress up as a Character from the book that they were sharing with the class. Dylan was a Dr/soldier from a WWII book.
Our yearly Halloween Party at the Mounts house has plenty of spooky foods. These were my additions:
