Sydneys Blessing

We blessed Baby Sydney about 3 weeks ago. She was so good, she didn't even make a peep. Luckily grandma and grandpa mount were still in town, so we had a lot of family support.

She was beautiful in her handmade dress from Grandma Minnie, isn't it gorgeous?

Baby Sydney

Sydney was born weighing in at 9lbs 2 onces, 21 and 1/2 inches. What a chunk! I love her, but I don't ever want to go through that again! OUCH!!! For all of you women out there that give labor without meds, you are crazy and amazing! It still makes my eyes water to think of that pain, ugh!

Dylan had a really hard time adjusting at first. He was extremely mad at me for about three weeks and that was really hard on me. Its one thing to have a new baby that isn't sleeping great, but another to have a two year old that is throwing fits left and right and hitting and yelling at his mommy. It was really sad, but he has gotten past most of that. He is starting to love Sydney now, when she cries he even says, "its ok sweety".

Cameron and I have been slowly adjusting. we are both extremely tired all the time, but we love our new family. I can't believe there are 4 of us! Sydney is a beauty, and Dylan is still the cutest kid alive. He is constanly making us smile, he even told us a joke the other day that he made up all on his own. "what does poo poo say daddy?" And he stuck out his tounge and made a farty noise. It was super cute. How did he know how to tell a joke? I guess he really is a Mount!

Karaoke anyone?

Dan and Seth came and stayed with us for a few days. Cameron was in his element staying up till all hours of the night playing video games with his buddies. I loved waking up at 3 am hearing three grown men singing metallica. What could be better than that?

I am a blogger!

So apparently you are nobody unless you have a blog. So here I am finally creating one, can you believe it? I hope all you blog stalkers enjoy! Thanks Janon for showing me the light.

A lot has happened in the last 7 weeks since our baby girl was born. We have not been able to send pictures because we had another tornado which we think fried something in our laptop. Unfortunately that laptop has most of our recent pictures on it (lets hope we can recover them).

Since Sydney has come into our world we have had 7 weeks of non stop fun. We have had many visitors come into town to see our sweet kids: First it was Dan and Seth (a few weeks before Sydney), G-mama and G-papa, Great Grandma Mount, Minnie, Coco, Allan, Shar and her kids, Starla, Auntie Em, and lastly Jon and Anneli. We have felt so loved and supported, and it has been great. In some of the pictures though you can tell that we were a bit sleep deprived to say the least.
