We took the kids in to take pictures last week in hopes of getting a great naked baby photo of our newborn. We knew it would be chaotic, (as it always is with three kids), but we decided to try it out anyway. The nudy pics didn't turn out, but we were able to get this great one of Macey with the flower on her head. To some the flower is way to big, but to others like me, it is SUPER CUTE! I love it! The other pictures turned out ok, but as expected, Syd couldn't sit still, Dylan wanted to watch his movie, and the baby was tired and crying. This was the best one of all three kids. At the end of the photo session while I was apologizing for the craziness, the photographer actually responded with, "let me give you a hint: If the parents can lower their stress levels, then the kids are a lot better off and the pictures turn out beautifully." Can you believe that crap? I wish I would have said or done anything other than just smile and nod while Cameron just up and walked away. "Let me give YOU a hint douche bag, try snapping more than 5 pictures over the course of 30 minutes. It's not like you are going to run out of digital film any time soon." FYI: G-mama made the Easter dresses aren't they cute? Believe it or not, Macey is in the bitty baby dress since her dress doesn't quite fit yet. Perfection.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sydney!
SYDNEY IS TWO!
As tradition goes, at two years of age G-mama and G-papa get the girls in our family their first Bitty Baby. Sydney LOVES her baby, and tried to feed her and make her go "ight ight" (night, night).
Mommy and Daddy got Syd her first tricycle (Princesse's of course) She still hasn't figured it out but Dylan is sure to teach her, (since he thinks it is his new bike).
We also gave her a stroller set to push her new baby in. This is her FAVORITE toy! She and Dylan run back and forth through the house turning their baby into a crash test dummy.

Hospital Fun
Macey Meets her Siblings
The kids were able to come to the hospital Tuesday night to meet their new little sister. I was a bit worried about Sydney since she tends to have some jealousy when I am around other babies, but she was great. She was SO happy to see the baby. She kept hugging and pointing and loving all over her. Dylan too couldn't and can't keep his hands off of Macey. He is in love with her, and constantly wants to hold, kiss and touch her. It is super sweet. (Notice that even in this family pic he has to have his hands on Macey.)
Syd leans in for a hug while saying, "awwwww".

Macey's birth story:
We went to the hospital at 7 am Tuesday morning to be induced. We were put in the exact same room that Sydney was delivered, and believe it or not, we had the same amazing nurse too! It was meant to be. Perfect! My water was broken around 8:45 and I finally got my epidural around 10:30 (That pump that ya'll knew I was planning on getting was lost, they couldn't find one in the entire hospital! Grrr.) At around 1:15 or so my nurse checked me and I was only dilated to a 5, so Cameron went to go get some food downstairs. I preceded to call my sister and about 5 minutes into the conversation felt the baby completely drop to the point where I felt I had to push. It was a very strange and confusing feeling considering I was completely numb (such a yucky feeling). I quickly called Cameron to hurry back up because I thought I had to push. My nurse came in doubting I had progressed in just a few short minutes, and to her surprise I was complete! I was at a 10! The Dr. rushed in, and as I sat up to begin pushing, Macey's head literally popped out. The Dr. told me to stop pushing (as if I was pushing in the first place), and I looked at Cameron's eyes well up. I asked him what was going on and and he was speechless, he couldn't take his eyes off of the baby that I still was unaware of. The Dr. then told me to feel my babies head, and wow, it was really there. About a minute later I gave a little push (if you can even call it that) and out came little Macey. She was/is perfect in every way. I haven't been able to take my hands off of her since the moment she was born. It was a perfect delivery which resulted in an even more perfect baby.

Easter 2010
Despite all that I had planned, Easter came and went without any sign of baby Macey. As frustrating as that is, I am glad this happened because I would have hated missing such a great day with my family.
We began the day with Easter Baskets of course. I spoil my kids way too much! I love Dylan's face here. The kids played with their toys. Check out these awesome beads...(yes they are a choking hazard, but if anyone knows my daughter she doesn't eat anything, so no worries there :) The kids love these and they are GREAT for working on fine motor skills and perfect for "pretties" (necklaces) as Sydney calls them. And there was an egg hunt of course!
We went over to lunch at Grandma and Grandpas Mounts to meet the rest of the family for yummy food and fun.
There we took lots of pictures of the kids in their new Easter dresses that Grandma of course made (SHE IS SO GOOD!).Getting a picture of all these kids together is a joke. Can't the just cooperate? Just for a minute? (It's always my kids...this is just the one picture that mine were looking and not crying...so there. Sorry boys, I will get you in the next one :) Aren't these Easter dresses so cute?
Of course, what is Easter at the Granparents without an egg hunt? Dylan was stoked, especially when it came to the money eggs! Wahoo!
The day was beautiful, the food was yummy, the company was the best, and the boat ride was BUMPY...but no baby came of it. All in all, a near perfect day to celebrate such an important event in Christ's and our lives. Alleluia!

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
Pregnancy 39-40 weeks
So I am on the final countdown of this pregnancy and thought I needed to include a picture of these last days on my blog (I haven't posted a pic since week 22). No laughing! I am huge, but I have hope that 5 months from now I will be back to my smaller self (I know, who am I kidding right? Since when am I small, and really, It's more like a year anyway, ugh!).
I hope this baby girl comes soon! She has been causing crazy contractions for the last week now, so I am ready! No sleep, backache, contractions, + 2 other kids to look after = no fun! Wish me luck, and a healthy baby!
